Prior to joining the world of massage, Paul spent a decade working in international mountain bike racing, where he worked closely with professional athletes as a bike mechanic and road manager. This experience enabled him to gain great perspective about body and sport integration, and to develop an understanding of the different needs of the individual, the sport they are doing, and the ways in which the body needs to move, react and adapt to environments and equipment.
Outside of work Paul is an avid mountain biker, enjoys hiking and adventures in the backcountry. He also coaches for Hilltop MTB helping the next generation of cyclists learn and develop. In the winter months you will find him out on his skis enjoying the backcountry.
Paul has a great interest in Myofascial techniques, Neuromuscular facilitation and the integration of stretching modalities. Moreover he is interested in treating the mind and body connection such as depression and anxiety, after seeing amazing changes in patients via outreach programs from massage treatments.
“I believe in really listening to a person to truly understand how to help, to discuss and to develop treatments collaboratively. Massage can be beneficial to anyone in any walk of life and I look forward to helping you in the future.”
